1928 French violin by Gustave Villaume € 8.000,00 Add to cart The add to cart button will appear once you select the values above A violin made, signed and labelled by Gustave Villaume of Nancy in the north east of France in 1928. Apart from a very small varnish ding to the table, it is in completely original condition. The olivewood, gold capped pegs also appear to be original. It has a beautiful, clear and very classy sound, with a slightly nasal aspect, typical of many better quality French violins. Great dynamic range is possible on this instrument. This is the second Gustave Villaume violin that I have owned and they both share very similar and wonderful sound characteristics.
